Since trading started in 1975 the Directors of Double L Ltd have strived to create a company with a friendly persona with a reputation of substance and commitment to client satisfaction. Feedback is continually reviewed in developing and enhancing the future reputation of the company.
Commitment to a Standard of Work
As a demonstration to our commitment to quality we achieved successful registration of ISO 9001:2000 in 2003 and we are continually appraised by our accrediting authority QSC.
As an example our commitment to a standard makes us confident in providing written Guarantees for all our Felt Waterproofing Systems for a minimum period of 10 years.

The heart of our business revolves around the success of our commitment to our clients, their customers and other parties affected by the works that we may be asked to undertake. We provide free quotations and consultations.
We offer advice on project specifications, costing, possible environmental impact and offering alternative solutions where possible to ensure our clients are able to make informed decisions.

As a forward looking and developing company we believe the investment in our employees is paramount to achieving success. This includes safe working for all our employees, ensuring strict adherence to current Health & Safety Legislation and to encompass the requirements of the latest Construction (Design & Management) regulations.

As a member of the Confederation of Roofing Contractors and being an approved contractor with some of the leading roofing and building material manufacturers we strive to enhance our client offerings and keep up to date with new technologies and products.
Commitment to our Employees
The staff at Double L Ltd have grown with the business over the last few years as the business has continued to develop. All our employees are dedicated as evidenced by the minimal turnover we see in our personnel. Our staff are further supported by a network of authorised and vetted sub-contractors.
Double L Ltd currently has 12 direct employees and can source between eight and thirty sub-contractors at anyone time. All our trades personnel are locally employed and are therefore familiar with the towns/areas in which they work.
The development and training of all our employees is key to the success of our business in achieving the levels of satisfaction our clients require. This includes training in key skills, training in using safe working practices, training in product use and training in behavioural skills.
Lastly but not least we ensure appropriate resources are provide to each employee to allow them to undertake the task to the best of their ability.

We have established a good reputation with our employees as we continually strive to be their employer of choice. I believe only with commitment between employee and employer will Double L Ltd be successful in achieving its aims.
As Managing Director of Double L Ltd I have always encouraged and welcomed feedback from clients, customers, suppliers and employees alike.
